If you are still having issues, you could also try removing the antenna cable and hooking it up to your home antenna.

Hey James,

Sorry must have missed this one.

The YHT-1092AU does not have THX certification.

THX certification is not a part the unit carries but a license to say that the unit meets ‘XYZ’ criteria.

The manufacturer also needs to pay a license fee to have their unit THX certified. This cost is inevitably passed onto the customer.

The RX-V765 AV receiver in the YHT-1092AU is an amazing 7.1 amplifier, HD audio decoding onboard and was designed using Yamaha ToP-ART design philosophy.

In short, we are confident that the YHT-1092 will meet your AV needs.

Got a problem with video from my PS3 via HDMI. I get audio but no video. My RX-V767 seems to be struggling with something for a couple of minutes, and after that my TV says ‘no signal’.
When I switch back to another HDMI-port (i.e – a Sagemcom box) there’s no video output any more, only audio.
Restarting the 767 fixes this, but it’s really annoying.
But ever more annoying that I can’t get any video from the PS3 at all.

I’m glad I read the information about the alarm today, as I was just about to purchase one. I too will wait for the alarm usability to be improved, or i may end up buying a different brand. Surely the alarm should have the option to choose which days it operates, ie Mon-Fri only. I’m very disappointed as I like the unit otherwise, but this is in my opinion a major flaw.

Yep – I’m having the same problem – one day DAB is working – next day it just shows me off air. I’ve tried turning off and on, cleaning antenna connection – at a loss of what to do next…

Antenna is not coiled either – it is pinned up a wall to ensure it is spread out away from electrical interference.

Any suggestions?

Hi Brad,

The YHT-894AUB does come with low grade speaker cable but does not come with a subwoofer cable.

Given that every customer who purchases a home theatre will undoubtedly have a different size/type room, Yamaha recommends purchasing the required length speaker cable to maximise the audio quality of your new system.

Hi Justin,

Unfortunately, you are not able to replace the card on the TSX-80. However, you should be able to get an adapter which allows you to change the aerial type.

These adapters are available through specialty electrical parts retailers.

We don’t have an iPad app at the moment. However, we do have two iPhone apps available from the app store.

The app you were after to control your RX-V1067 is our AV Controller app. iPhone apps also work with the iPad and you can run them at double the resolution if you want to fill the screen.

Thank you for the reply.

I went to the HN store at Gepps Cross today and they had the EPH-20 & EPH-30 models in stock but no EPH-50′s and the salesperson couldn’t advise me of when new stock would arrive, if at all. He told me they hadn’t stocked the EPH-50 for some time 8-(

It appears I’m out of luck buying a pair here in South Australia. I might just order them from overseas if I can.

The EPH-50 earphones are still current.

Unfortunately, there are not a lot of stores that are stocking this model at the moment.

I checked through some SOH and noticed that Harvey Norman Gepps Cross stock a lot of our earphone range.

They would be the best chance to find a pair. Alternatively, most stores will order them in for you.

Where does one find the EPH-50 headphones in either colour in South Australia or within Australia?

I can’t locate Yamaha headphones anywhere in Adelaide! A Google search returns many “discontinued” stock links for Australian retailers. eBay is not much better and Amazon.com won’t ship me a pair.

I too am amazed that the alarm has to be reset the night before – so I guess you can’t program Monday to Friday “alarm” / Saturday & Sunday “no alarm”? Like my existing clock radio.

I am waiting for the alarm update before purchase too. Love everything else (styling, sound quality simple operation via the 3 knobs on the front etc.).

Firstly let me say how impressive it is to see a company with a genuine forum that answers questions in such an open and honest way – very refreshing. Secondly, can we expect to see the 140 available in the neae future with DAB? Alternatively can you play itunes wirelessly from a mac?
